教学建议与说明

Step 1 warming-up

Show Ss music to relax

Step 2 Lead-in

1. Show Ss a video and ask them: What can you see?

2. Ask: What inventions do you know in our daily life?

3. Ask: Do you know four inventions in China?

Step 3 Self-study

1.Learn the words of four great inventions on screen:

 gunpowder, compass, paper making, printing

2.Check-in:

(1) Read together

(2) Play a game to check again.

Step 4  Presentation & Cooperation

1. Present new sentence structures:

(1)Who was... invented by? It was invented by....?

(2) When was...invented? It was invented in......

2. Pair work:

1). Present the conversation on screen and ask Ss to practice.

2). Make their own conversations by using the information given.

3). Let some pairs act out their conversations.

3. Do listening exercise (1b):

1). Write down the inventions and the time.

2). Check the answers.

4. Present the last new sentence structures:

What is it used for? It is used for......

5. Play a game to check what they have learned all.

6. Group work: Do group work to consolidate what they have learned today.

  Make conversations, using the sentences learned today and act out

Step 5  Summarize

1. summarize what they have learned today

2. See who is the winner

视频导入,巧妙引出inventions

 

 

 

拓展四大发明相关知识,培养学生对民族精神、中外文化的理解和优秀文化的认同及爱国情怀。在日常的英语课堂中,努力培养学生的英语核心素养。

 

 

 

 

 

学习三个重点句型,培养语言运用能力(能做事的能力):通过各项活动让学生能够熟练掌握句型并进行自由对话。

接龙性的问答让全班同学都有参与课堂的机会,切实提高课堂的参与度。

 

整合课本1b听力,让学生能听出并且写出发明物和年代,难度升级。

 

游戏使学生在轻松愉快的氛围中巩固所学词汇句型,是对学生所学新知的检测。

Guessing这个游戏,既轻松愉快地教学了重点句型,又培养了学生的求异思维。

 

合作学习是新课改极力倡导的一种学习方式。针对本文所学的句型结构以及相应的语法,小组通过合作创造对话,表演对话,从语言输入自然过渡到语言输出,培养学生的创新能力与合作能力。

 

培养学生交际能力:

  1)通过小组合作能够以口头和书面形式向他人清楚有效地表达

 自己的想法和观点。

  2)明确自己在团队中承担的任务,并努力完成,共同承担责任。

  3)积极听取他人意见,适时利用集体的智慧。

  4)有灵活性,为了达到共同的目标做出必要的妥协。

 

中考链接的环节,既巩固了这节课的重难点,也让学生明白了中考的考点。

 

星级作业的布置形式无不体现了作业的层次性。
